In 2026, David became a member of the International Guild of Realism (IGOR).
He was accepted to participate in the 20th annual IGOR exhibition at the Principle Gallery, Charleston, South Carolina.
One of David's paintings will be featured in an upcoming episode of 'Small Town Escapes with Colin and Justin' on HGTV.
David has written a book called 'The Accidental Diary - A Personal and Intimate Insight' - Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos, about his last 4.5 month backpacking trip in S.E. Asia (now being submitted to a publisher). He was actively involved (VP) with the Hants County Arts Council for five years.
In July, 2011, he was given a six page feature story on his work in Canadian Brushstroke Magazine (an on-line art magazine).
Dale White interviewed David on Eastlink Magazine, which was aired by Eastlink Television in the fall of 2007 and again in May 2008. Click Here to Watch the Interview. He is presently a member of the Hants County Arts Council.
David's work was featured in the book "Planet Earth, Planet Art", released in Feb. 2010, as an international fundraiser for Friends of the Earth International.
His work was included in the "Who's Who in Visual Art" Vol. 2010-2011 (German and English editions) and also in the book Nova Scotia's Contemporary Artists - Volume 2, released in 2010.

David is presently writing a book on art to be called A Dialogue on Art.
He is a co-founder of the art group Three Faces of Realism; a group working towards creating greater awareness of Nova Scotia's leading contemporary realists.
David was a member of the Mayor’s Task Force on Arts, Culture and Heritage (Mayor Paul Beazley - Windsor, N.S.)
His work was displayed at The Halifax Club for nine months in 2012.
David supports a variety of causes through donations of art work annually. |
